As of the end of June 2025, the number of electric vehicles (EVs) in China reached 36.89 million, accounting for 10.27% of the total vehicle fleet. On March 1, 2025, China’s first EV annual inspection standard, the Electric Vehicle Operational Safety Performance Inspection Regulations, officially came into effect, marking the industry’s entry into a new stage of “standardized, traceable” safety management.
At this critical juncture in the industry’s transformation, J-Blue Technology has partnered with Zhongjian Chefu Testing Technology (Beijing) Co., Ltd. – a subsidiary of China Automotive Engineering Research Institute – to jointly build and officially launch a digital-intelligent EV inspection station in Beijing. Equipped with independently developed core technology, the station fully meets national standards. This new landmark for EV inspection in North China provides solid support for the safety and development of the industry.

Powerful Collaboration in Action: Beijing EV Inspection Station Officially Launched
As a technology-driven company with deep expertise in vehicle inspection, J-Blue Technology has independently developed inspection solutions for both conventional and electric vehicles. Serving over 500 vehicle inspection stations nationwide, its network spans more than 20 provinces.
J-Blue’s EV inspection line includes intelligent equipment such as EV charging safety detectors, EV discharging safety detectors, on-board diagnostic terminals, and a complete set of digital-software systems. It comprehensively covers the inspection items required by national regulations, including power battery safety, drive motor safety, electronic control system safety, and electrical safety. Capable of accommodating vehicles across the widest range of wheelbases, the system also incorporates multiple safety protection measures. J-Blue’s EV inspection equipment has been certified by the Ministry of Public Security, helping inspection stations diversify their services and meet the needs of digital transformation.
Notably, three core EV inspection devices developed by J-Blue through national research projects – the EV charging safety detector, EV discharging safety detector, and diagnostic terminal tester – are now fully operational at Zhongjian Chefu Testing Technology (Beijing) Co., Ltd.

Electric Vehicle Discharge Safety Inspection Equipment
This station is not only one of the first in North China to fully comply with national standards but also sets a benchmark for inspection services by leveraging the dual advantage of “self-developed equipment” and “state-owned enterprise backing”. It provides comprehensive services including EV annual inspections, pre-sale quality testing, and in-use vehicle safety assessments – delivering robust technical assurance for vehicle safety and enabling automakers, vehicle owners, and regulators to track inspection data and control safety risks.
Technology-Driven Advancement: Safeguarding EV Safety Throughout the Lifecycle
Looking ahead, J-Blue Technology will seize the opportunity presented by the implementation of the new standards. It will continue to deepen R&D in EV inspection technology, upgrade the performance of its core equipment, and expand the scope and depth of its inspection services. Together with its partners, J-Blue will continue to promote the practical implementation of professional EV inspection services.
